Hi:
I just bought CDFront End and have tried to make an autorun CD that launches the installation of the program I copy to the CD. I have not had any luck.

Please better explain your difficulties. Have read the quick start in the other forum topics? Have you read the tutorials (press F1)? What step doesn't work? For a quicker help always ask: cdfrontend@visualvision.com

I have some programs that I have downloaded from the net in my DESKTOP folder. I would like to make a CD that autostarts when inserted with the programs that I have in the DESKTOP appear in the screen and have the word "install" that when clicked it starts the installation process of the program clicked.
I was making a new file, then typing INSTALL, then putting under the typed word INSTALL, the programs that I want to be able to open. I would then highlight each word, and click on the link icon, and then i would get an error message saying that I needed to insert a disk in the drive. What am I doing wrong?

Your words are a bit confusing. I suppose you have a series of self-extracting exe, each one would contain a setup of a program. You want to create a CD like Magazine's one, where you have some pages and you can click on a link to install one of these programs. This is very simple. Create the presentation pages with CDFrontEnd (F1 for the manual). For each program create a text such as "Click here to install PacMan", select the text, use "Insert" then "Link", use the 3rd tab, use Add+ button, write run:data\pacmansetup.exe
Then, when you are done, press the toolbar button that creates the CD image in a TMP directory (see F1 and the Tutorials for better learning this).
Then open a CD burner program such as NERO and burn on the CD: - the TMP folder into the ROOT of the CD - all the .exe you have (such as pacmansetup.exe) into a folder called "data" on the CD.
