If the CD has been correctly created, it will autorun on both 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000 and XP.
Maybe the CD was damaged? Try burning the CD at a lower speed.
Make sure you are burning the *content* of the temporary folder on the main folder of the CD, and not the temporary folder itself.

I'm sorry but you seem to have misunderstood me....I said that the CD runs fine on my WinXP computer and also on a Win98 computer but NOT on my friends with WinXP, I think the problem is not with the CD but with my friends computer set-up and I wanted some ideas as to what his problem may be? By the way I object to being called a 'newbie' i have been using your eccellent program for almost a year now.....!

It is the forum engine that does call you "newbie" (it counts how much posts I suppose - or maybe it counts from the forum subscription date).
That said, the only PC setting that can avoid a CD to autorun is the "automatic insertion notification" on the CD drive. The default MSWindows setting is "enabled".
Within XP, I searched but I can't find *where* this setting is... within the other MSWindows it is accessible by a right click on MyComputer, Properties, then the Hardware management tab.....
Another possible problem: maybe the CD is not so good (this may happen with a bad CD burned at high speed), try to burn another CD.

Hi Phil, i will try what you suggest with my friends PC...to change your settings to 'Administrator' go to 'Control Panel' then 'User Accounts' and simply change your account to 'Administrator' hope it works for you ...good luck.

well seems i was already administator but cd will still not autorun.. the answer was to download and install 'tweakui.exe' from microsoft. It has an autorun tab and when i enabled autorun on all cd players..bingo.. works fine now.. dunno why it was turned off in the first place tho?? you can also enable autorun on removable discs so maby this is the answer for the post on that subject
