Topic Summary

We've created a little program in our office which reads all folder and document titles which are in a specific folder. The content of the file which is created with this little program can then be copied and pasted into CDFrontEnd (Gold version) as an index. All the document titles need to be linked to the corresponding documents. Most of the time this index contains about 1000 titles (lawyers do create a lot of documents!). Is there a way within CDFrontEnd to create links to the documents automatically?
Many thanks.

with the syntax (for external links, see manual)
you can show the MSWindows File manager opened with the Cd folder "foldername", so the files are listed in a easy way

I already have a program which list the content of a folder. It even saves the folder and the file names in a .txt file.
What I want to create is an index of (a 1000 or more) links. Because we have to create these kind of indexes on a weekly basis, I don't want to do this link by link. So I was wondering if CDFrontEnd can search for the selected file titles in a given folder name.
I searched the manual and could not find the answer. I hope there's a function like this in CDFrontEnd.
Many thanks.

I have read your question.
I suggested you a workaround as there is not this automatic function, at present.
