Hi, I have a website and would love to learn how to update it myself. It was done in Frontpage. I found this website and would like to see some sites that were made using it. Are there any examples? If I used this program would I import the pages I already have? Or would I have to create new pages?
This stuff always confused me but it would be awesome to make my own site/updates.

Examples: look in  the following Topic of this board: Sites created with EWE/1site (free ads!)

If you created your site with FrontPage you can also modify it with FrontPage again ?! Maybe I am not understanding your question ...

Nevertheless you can copy and paste the HTML code from Frontpage to EWE to replicate your site and start improving from there

I just visited your site. You surely need a PRO. Forget the easy version.

Maybe you should also engage the help of someone who really knows how to cut into the thin and thick of a web!

To clarify, my site was done using FrontPage I believe, but I had a webmaster do it. So you think I am better off just staying with using a webmaster? I would love to be able to update it more often. For example, I will be changing the photos soon and would like to do it myself. But mabey I better just have someone do it for me.

Hey, that was only my reading ... wait for more opinions!

Changing photos is a snap with EasyWebEditor. How much are they charging you for webmastering?

Well, my old webmaster would change them for free probably since she made alot of changes for free or next to free. But I don't want to use her anymore since she blamed me for some porn sites getting saved on her computer, she said it was because she added some banners to my site on my links page.

Now I know a guy who can do it for free, but I would like to do updates myself, so I am sorta in between webmasters right now. I set up the hosting and all that so I have all the info, username, password, etc for my site. I was going to use another webmaster for changes but he wants to redesign my whole site and I'm not sure I want to do that yet. Some girls in my same business do their own sites, and some look okay, and some are very amateur-ish looking. I like the jewelry site in the free ads section of this forum.

She is probably right about the banners   but then it was her doing.

You can easily duplicate your site with 1st/EWE by copying and pasting the HTML code you already have from FrontPage.

Then you will need to invest some time learning the software so that maintenance becomes easy.

Maybe she will save time by trying to re-create the site within EWE. She will start the site with a brand new design (maybe she can use a template) and she can cut and paste existing texts and images, place links, etc.
When I started working here, in order to learn the program I was required to create a website... I proceeded by little steps and I enjoyed the stuff... obviously to have the full control it takes a bit of time but everything good in life does require time....
