Stray text at top of page

After editing one of my pages and publishing to the host, I have a line of text at the top of the page that doesn't seem to be in the hypertext. The line is the link destination from a link on a different page. I can't find a way to remove it. Any ideas?
I thought it might be a header since it appears above the first Heading line. The page properties don't include a header or footer.

then that thing can be in the HTML header or HEAD, you can see it in Format >Page properties, there is a proper tab for the page HEAD (also accessible with Insert >HTML >At page start). By default the space is empty but maybe you included something by mistake.
See also if you added raw html code to the page with Insert >HTML (within the editor this is shown as a small icon in the text).

P.S. this is not for you but as I am here it is always helpful to notice that the page header or footer in EWE can be another page, and it refers to head/foot like we could be used to in MS Word, it is not the "html head".

Thanks. I had just found it. It was in the Meta tab of page properties. An icon to the file reference had been added. In the hypertext it showed up between HEAD and TITLE. I don't know how it got there as I had not edited that tab.
