I need some help with putting HTML, on my page.
I have just put a counter in.  Now I want to put a donation box, from Amazon. com.
Now, when I put in the HTML for the donation box, I lose the counter.  I know I am doing something wrong here.
I know that this shouldn't be happening, but it I know that I am certainly doing something wrong.
Any help you can give me, would be greatly appreciated.

When I enter the HTML, for the donation box, from then I go to to view it in the default browser, I not only lose the counter, but only a box shows up with an x. where the Amazon donation box graphic should be.....
Please help me, if you can.....

I suppose you entered the HTML with "insert >HTML >Within the page".
If something shows wrong, there's probably some mistake in the HTML code.
Check you copied correctly both codes.
Maybe you could post the code or send it to support and we will see what's wrong.

I purchased my copy of EWE more than half a year now but I have not felt it dear to me as I found out I could not do what I could simply do using my everyday tool in Yahoo's Geocities for making a webpage/s. Can someone please show me how I could also do here to just drop and move any graphics or text/paragraphs anywhere at once on a page. The lack of this knowledge of how to do it in EWE is the reason I never use EWE to create a single page. It is always the Yahoo program that I use, although I bought EWE thinking all the instant things I could find in Yahoo can be found here. Did I make a mistake? Can it be done here, say I don't want to put my first words or sentence at the left corner and not centered either, but anywhere I want it to appear right away, just like I do in Yahoo?  Up to now I am a  dis-appointed owner of EWE. When I bought it, it did not even come up with sample files to analyze or use as pattern. I have several webshows of slideshows. That means I am not expecting from this webpage maker just to give me a simple page. I thought of it as Visual WYSIWYG and that - I thought I could also put anything just anywhere. say a picture or a character, word, or paragraphs just anywhere.

Yes in Yahoo, once you are given a clean slate, just choose a tool, say Picture. Once it is displayed on the screen you can move it anywhere, resize it to your liking. The same thing with words and paragraphs. You want them layered, its up to you. Any multiple animations you want that's available, you get it. With music, and its free. And I've been using it everyday, and never paid for it. But this tool, I've paid almost 7 months ago, I have not wanted to start a page because I could not drop my first words on the spot I want it to appear right away. Even the pictures always want to stick on the left side. Could I do what I am doing in Yahoo Geocities here, please? I am desperate in finding how to do it that quick I do in Yahoo, here.  The only reason I bought this program is because of the WYSIWYG advertisement this program was saying, but then it doesn't seem to prove it is. In Yahoo which is free, you get lots of ready-made styles and images for free. I did not get one here. And I don't seem to find it here.  I find this program similar to Word and Netscape. The things always want to stick to the left or center. You cannot have your own way.

EasyWebEditor is a tool for making professional sites.
The first thing you should learn when doing this is that a site must be designed to be good for any screen width (any kind of monitor, any browser window size).
The way to position pictures you have in Yahoo (called fixed or absolute positioning) is very easy for a novice, but the bad side of the story is that usually if you design a site that way and you have a large monitor, the site is pretty impossible to see with a small monitor (typical case: a picture on the right is too much on the right, so the end user won't see it).
To position objects on the page in EasyWebEditor, you can use the paragraph align tools (left, right, center, justify) and the tables (a table with no borders can be used for positioning an image on the right besides a text or besides another image).
The table layout is done in %, so a work created that way shows well on any kind of monitor.
This approach is more "difficult" for a novice, and does require a bit more effort (we have an entire chapter about this in the PDF manual, the title is Graphics and paging pages), but it pays at the end.
WYSIWYG does mean "What You See Is What You Get", i.e. the layout on the page will be shown on the Web (almost) exactly.
I'd suggest you reading the PDF manual (*ALL*) . If you take a look to or you will see a lot of picture on the right and a lot of graphic design that you can obtain with the editor.
If you use "File >New from..." you can choose from several templates (available templates called "Perogatt Templates" are for sale on the Website).
