After giving a specific name to a HTML file, the HTML published page still shows the default EWE name (*_000001.htm). I did put a specific name (as I wanted it to appear) in the center left gray box on Format>Page Properties as told in FAQ's, then saved and uploaded file to my server but does'nt seem to work. What is the right procedure please?

You used the correct procedure. Please insert a full file name, such as mypage.htm
EWE / 1SITE will create a redirection page with that name. As explained in the frequent asked questions page ( http://www.1site.info/faq/ ), the automatic naming optimizes the publishing speed and assures there aren't "bad links" in your site, never.
