Topic Summary
Posted by: Tycho Posted on: Jan 17th, 2005, 3:46pm
I am completely stuck.

I have recently added an new hard drive to my computer and have completely resitalled all my software including EWE.  I have need to make some changes to the site but now I find that I cannot upload it.  EWE throws up an error when I click on the Publish button:

Cannot opne file D:\vv\CDROMs\iper3pro\Eng\client\f\HtmlTemplates\js.js

Why should it be looking in Drive D: whic in my system is a completely empty partition?

In its last installation before I had reformatted lots of my computer, I used D: as the programs partition but I am not doing that now.  I wonder if the hypertext file is remembering a previous configuration of the program.  If it is, it is a serious fault with the programming.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Tycho.

Hi Tycho
I had similar issues not so long ago try this the support team gave me this advice

"The solution is simple:
- use the MSWindows Start menu and the Find feature in order to find js.js (it is somewhere)
- then use "Hypertext >Current Hypertext properties", click the Cart tab, then click the "Load" button and point the js.js file."

hope this helps

That worked a treat, Gerry.

Thank you.
