Topic Summary

I have just purchased ILite and have hit a roadblock:
How can I put a completed page into a HTML view? I need to be able to copy and paste the page html code into a Mambo editor that my hosting company provides.
If I am not able to preview the page in html in the 1lite, I need to be able to save it as a html file, with all graphics, links, etc. included and then maybe open in composer to see the html code....

A simple way is to use:
"Publish >Browser preview >Current page in default browser"
then, within the browser, use "View >HTML"

To view in .html the way i understand it it to be able to modify codes and text right?
I too would like to view in .html as i've copy-pasted some texts that just don't align.
Take this for example:
"December 19 - "Sometimes you doubt that it is I     .........speaking to you. It all seems so simple, like your self. But aren't we one?"
I added the .......... on the second line as i couldn't make spaces here.  No matter what i did to bring "speaking" back up to previous line it wouldn't work.  It i could view with .html then i could see what was the problem.

Try downloading a free trial of Macromedia's Dreamweaver, a feature is being able to see both your html and normal view in the same work area on a split screen, The best program I have ever used.Check out if you qualify for educational or non-profit purchase.

Thanks T.Mayer for the tip.
Already have FrontPage.  Had i heard about Dreamweaver before, things might have been different.  Have to live with it now.

The EasyWebEditor / 1SITE code is always correct and optimized so there is no need to see it / touch it. You may add code with Insert >HTML.
The best way to position things is to use invisible tables rather than spacing - there is a whole chapter about this within the PDF manual.
Also, spacing can have slightly different behaviors on different browsers due to the fact that they do not render perfectly the CSS specifications.

Thank you Support for your patient support!
-p.s. having made tabs afterward with no change i opted to transfer text to EditPad then re-insert to 1stSite and all lines and spacing were okay.  Had to redo bold characters and font style.
Next time will proceed with tabs first!
