Topic Summary

I am trying to figure out how to tell 1site how to place code at the bottom of a page.  All I can seem to do is left/center/right justify.  I want to put things such as copyright, counter, etc to always be on the bottom dynamically, and not have to be manually repositioned everytime I make changes or additions to a page.

Any help would be appreciated.

the height of the page is unknown (you don't know the end user screen size) so I think that the only thing you can do is to place the copyright as last thing you write.

I use a "global footer" (a page that I assigned as global footer) to place a copyright info and a bunch of links... I found this very handy...

Thanks for the info.
The global footer sounds like the way to go to make it easier to update in one place.  I have not heard of this, how do I designate a page as a global footer, and assign it?

it's just a normal page.

Add a new page (say, with CTRL + or with File | Add new page ).

Then write the footer text at the beginning of the page. You may just write down "this is the footer"

Then use Hypertext | Current hypertext options, and click the second tab.

On the top of this table there is a (almost invisible) button "Browse", near the label "Use this page as global footer..."
When you click the "Browse" button the program permits you to choose any page as "global footer". Just choose the page that you created......

Thanks Bello,
That is just what I was after.  Works great!
