The terminology required by EasyWebEditor (EWE) and the terminology used by the Service Provider (SP) seem to differ in a few cases. EWE asks for the username and password, and these are both provided by the SP. No problem here.
EWE also asks for (in addition to the username and password): The FTP Server; The Initial remote folder: and the WWW path
The SP also provides, in addition to the username and password): Domain Name:jcstudioart.com Server Host: 142.166.86.108 DNS Ns1.anywarenetworks.com Ns2.anywarenetworks.com
It appears to me there are different terms here that must mean the same thing. A translation, or key of what goes where would be greatly appreciated. So far I've had no luck at guessing, and neither has my SP.

If your host/SP does not know the name of the FTP server, change it.
It is like an electrician that does not know what is a lamp.
The host MUST know the FTP server name (and he/she is the only one that knows it), as he configures it. Same for the Web directory or Initial remote directory, he must know.
WWW path is just used for a blue label and you can safely ignore it.
The SP said they provided everything I needed to upload a file. They host thousands of websites and should know what they are talking about. I see in the manual other SP's have had the same problem with EWE's terminology. Perhaps your analogy with the electrician is misplaced.

We can only confirm what we said. The first web sites are born in 1994, and we do web creation since 1995 (our product, continuously updated and renewed of course, is the oldest web editor on the market: its first complete edition released in 1996, its first commercial edition 1998 ).
99.999999999% of web hosts uses FTP to transfer files, FTP is the standard way to transfer web files from a PC to a host.
To use FTP, you need the FTP server name, this is a must.
Only the host knows the FTP server name. Sometimes it is ftp.yourdomain.com; sometimes it coincides with yourdomain.com; sometimes it is completely different. The fact that they don't ever know what is a FTP server is really suspect, and should toggle a blinking red alert. Of course they can say they host hundreds of websites just like I can say I'm Bob Dylan. Or maybe I'm Elvis .
Of course you are not forced to believe us. Please ask on any independent tech forum "Is it professional a host that does not know what a FTP server is??". It's really astonishing they exist (yet).

I forgot: yes there were other users with a host with similar problems. These hosts discontinued their services (= they closed, they failed, bye bye), sometimes by going away with the user's money...
