Can HyperPublish be used to create a searchable catalogue on CD with data coming from a database?

The 2005 edition features a CSV import, so if your database can write a CSV file (+ images) you are ok.
You can not setup the database directly on CD (but this is not so bad as in any case there would be a lot of problems for the DB engine/server, as a lot of people nowadays have XP and if not in administrator mode it is hard for a CD to touch database sensible, ODBC and similar stuff).
