Large publications

I'm about to start work a large publication of about 2000 pages, this is a technical document and will rely heavily on image hot spots for navigation.
Is this beyond any limitations of HP ? Do you know if anyone has used HP to produce anything of this size to date ?
I'm using an eval version of HP at present and have encountered a few problems, I'm reluctant to commence work with tooling that may quit halfway through the project.
Any advice appreciated.

The teorical limit is 260000 pages.
I've created myself a 1400 pages document without any problem.
Actually HP internally works like a DB so you won't have any problems.
Of course the Trial edition is not so tested as the regular edition.
