Title: linking files
Post by mikrodoctor on Nov 27th, 2003, 8:27am
I am trying to links 2 files created with EWE. I want to make 1 site so the files need to link together.

I am assumming that I will link the last page of file1 to the 0 page of file2 is this correct?

Do I need to change the name of page 0 of file2 so that is not thought of as index?

Sorry I forgot that my menu will have to link from one file to the other, are these pages setup the same way as the links connecting files?

First of all, be sure that the "prefix" field in the two AEH file is different.

You find the "prefix" option into the "Hypertext >Current hypertext options" dialog (first tab, on the left, center).

Then to link pages from two different hypertext you can use a direct link by using hard file names (Insert >Link, 3rd tab) or there is amore simple solution that's using "Insert >Link", 2nd tab :)
