Title: Printing manual
Post by kwberger on Sep 1st, 2002, 9:54am
I've completed my HTML Help file.  Now I want to print it as a manual.  All the links are in blue.  When printed on a monochrome printer they dissappear.

How do I print a manual in black and white with the links appearing?

Better to compile it as .CHM then print it from within the Windows HTML Help viewer.

When you say "print it as a manual" what are you printing? How are you printing it? From within the .chm browser window?

My help file is organized just like an operator's manual. Rather than create a separate wordprocessor file for the manual I would like to simply print the help file. Printing from the help viewer does correct the dissappearing link problem. However, the text prints as one long document and the chapter headings are buried in the text. It would be nice to be able to insert page breaks in the print out from the help viewer.
